Capaz+IT is proud to invite you to apply for the Family Futures program at the Manchester YMCA Welcome Center in Chesterfield County. We offer a professional development and personal wellness program for immigrant adults that prepares you for success in several career pathways in health and human services. Help with homework, reading, games and other activities for children! Designed to help build a portfolio of skills that can advance your career.

What is included in this program:

• Mental Health Promoter Certificate “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind”.

• Mental Health First Aid Certification

• American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

• REVIVE! NARCAN Training.

• Construction of resume (resume).

• Access to basic literacy and high school equivalency online learning platform.

• Learn about enrichment opportunities and programs in the greater Richmond area.

• Delivery of basic breathing, movement and meditation tools through 30-minute yoga sessions.

• Digital skills training

• Participants will have access to a laptop during the program and those who complete will be able to keep it!
